Doune Dining Room

The Award Winning Dining Room at Doune offers real ‘slow’ food, skilfully prepared and served in a stunning yet informal setting. A meal at Doune will be a highlight of your holiday and a real adventure! Dinner is a carefully chosen single menu, freshly prepared daily (with options for special diets and vegetarians). Specialities include Doune Bay crab, traditional roasts of venison or lamb, vast seafood buffets, desserts using our homegrown soft fruit and on the cheeseboard our own home produced cheese. Single sitting @ 7:30pm. Doune is six miles out of the village of Inverie on the Airor road, plus a 15 minute walk down a rough path so please come prepared with suitable footwear. The three course meal plus cheeseboard and coffee/tea for approx £35.00. Bookings are essential & taken up until 10am for that evening. Knoydart Pottery & Tearoom
(Open year round. Summer mon-fri 9-5 & sat 11-3 / Winter mon, wed, fri 10-4)
Serving breakfast rolls & a range of speciality teas and freshly ground real coffee & hot chocolate, all of which are fair trade. Their lunches include hearty home made soups with home made bread or oatcakes; healthy jacket potatoes or filled deli sub rolls. Specials which range from what’s in season and what the weather is like! They bake cakes and tray bakes daily and the baking cabinet changes all the time. Firm favourites are our scones and tablet.
